Aromatic Description: PureomEO’s™ Davana essential oil is a wonderful example of a scent with a lot going on that still feels pure and simple. It seems like the disparate elements should not work together, but somehow they do. On first whiff, you’ll smell a mixed bouquet of fruit, some of it ripe and juicy, and some of it dried. As the sweetness slowly fades, a slightly bitter, herbal green note takes center stage, but a luscious, syrupy balsamic undertone still lingers. During drydown, the oil settles into a sweet, black tea-like scent with just a hint of incense. Frankincense lovers will gravitate towards davana for its ritualistic herbaceousness and ability to soothe and moisturize the skin, but really, davana is an oil that most people would find it hard not to like.   

Blends Well With: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Sage, Clove, Frankincense, Vetiver, Chamomile, Sandalwood, Lavender, Jasmine, Cypress, Geranium, Spikenard, Basil, Carrot Seed, Mandarin, Neroli, Orange, Patchouli, Rose, Cistus, Tangerine, Ylang Ylang, Cardamom, Lemon, and Rosemary Essential Oils  

Directions For Use: Add 5 to 6 drops of oil to bath water. Use in our PURE-OMA diffuser. Apply to pulse points, temples, behind the ears, or anywhere the body is holding tension. Oil can also be added to PureomEO™ carrier oils for use on skin.
