Aromatic Description: Cardamom is a spice with a long history behind it. For starters, its therapeutic qualities were referenced in 3000-year-old Vedic texts. Ancient Egyptians used cardamom in perfumes and incense, while ancient Greek physicians used it to treat sciatica, abdominal pain, and coughs. In both ancient and contemporary India, cardamom is used to flavor food and aid digestion.

Unsurprisingly, PureomEO’s™ Cardamom Essential Oil is laden with rich, warming spiciness. Biting black pepper, earthy fennel, and bold star anise blend sensually together, combining with the elusive and unmistakable essence of pure, intense cardamom. Pine, lemon, and eucalyptus notes push their way through the fragrance eventually, brightening and lightening the spicy cocktail, which grows smokier over time. There is something about cardamom’s heady, earthy warmth that is instantly invigorating, but also immediately soothing, like a new adventure in well worn shoes.

Directions For Use: Add 5 to 6 drops of oil to bath water. Use in our PURE-OMA diffuser. Apply to pulse points, temples, behind the ears, or anywhere the body is holding tension. Oil can also be added to PureomEO™ carrier oils for use on skin.
