Aromatic Description: Given Absinthe’s salacious history as a mainstay of the fin de siècle cocktail scene, it’s a little surprising that PureomEO’s™ Absinthe Essential Oil smells as therapeutic as it does. It’s intensely herbaceous with sharp notes of anise, ripening greenery, and swirls of sweet fennel. Overtop these fresh, beguiling herbs are whispers of flowers that have just poked their heads through the steamy earth. It’s a scent that manages to be wholesome and carefree at the same time, with an added touch of Bohemian flare thrown in for good measure. Sometimes, when you’re looking for sin, you stumble upon virtue instead. Quite honestly, we’re fans of both.

Blends Well With: Jasmine, Lavender, Neroli, Orange, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, and Myrrh Essential Oils

Directions For Use: Add 5 to 6 drops of oil to bath water. Use in our PURE-OMA diffuser. Apply to pulse points, temples, behind the ears, or anywhere the body is holding tension. Oil can also be added to PureomEO™ carrier oils for use on skin.
