Aromatic Description: The first whiffs of Moon are a heady mix of Marjoram’s clean pine and Neroli’s zingy citrus and soothing vanilla. The bouquet’s mild sweetness is undercut, ever so slightly, by its soft woodiness. This burst of forest greenery and savory herbs keeps the powerful floral notes from becoming too cloyingly sweet. Speaking of floral notes, Moon’s unifying scent is rose, but it’s a rose with many facets: it’s honey at some turns, clover at others. Hints of lemon and green tea sashay in and out of the mix. At times, the sweetness feels as lush as purple summer fruits, and at others, dry and powdery as pressed violets. While flowers form the backbone of this fragrance, clove, anise, and Marjoram’s more herbaceous notes do eventually mingle with the floral tones, creating a spiciness that renders the florals greener, more intense, and, by turns, pleasantly soapy, freshening the overall effect.

The Takeaway: Moon is a scent about return and rebirth. Like its namesake, this perfume paces through its sweet, woodsy, and herby cycles while anchored deeply in the floral. Directions For Use: Apply Moon Bath, Body, and Massage Oil all over the body and/or hair to nourish and moisturize. Moon can also be used in bath water, or as a massage oil. It’s best applied after a shower or bath to lock in moisture.
