Aromatic Description: Angelica seed Essential Oil is historically known as Holy Ghost Oil, or the Oil of Angels. These alternative names likely stemmed from Angelica Seed’s healing powers, which are so potent that it was thought that the plant’s origin must have come from a divine source.
Like divine power, and our relationship to it, Angelica Seed’s fragrance is, well, complicated. But not in a bad way. It’s initial notes are full of nostril-tingling lemon and pine. After these first assertive aromas soften ever so slightly, anise and pepper arise, underlining the initial zing with a warm spiciness. A whiff of gin creeps in, giving the bouquet a medicinal quality, but it’s the type of medicine you actually want to take, because of all the good it’s doing you. This sharp aroma does eventually mellow into something vaguely vegetal, (again, good for you!), and delicately earthy. As the scent lingers, the lemon and pine seem to reemerge, leaving a therapeutic freshness in the air or upon the skin that invigorates with every inhale. While we can’t promise a connection to the divine, we are confident that our Angelica Seed oil will elevate your mood and help you live purposefully and passionately.

Directions For Use: Add 5 to 6 drops of oil to bath water. Use in our PURE-OMA diffuser. Apply to pulse points, temples, behind the ears, or anywhere the body is holding tension. Oil can also be added to PureomEO™ carrier oils for use on skin.
Cautions: As with any essential oil, use of this product may cause skin sensitivity or irritation. Test this product on a small patch of skin before widespread use. Discontinue use if signs of irritation occur, and wash the affected area with soap and warm water. Keep this product out of reach of children.
